I have plans to go riding at Markham park again on Saturday. I’m just letting you know so you can come out and stalk me. I might be spending the night in West Palm because I have another baby shower to go to on Sunday. Why can’t people schedule their stuff around the Supercross schedule? I just had 2 weekends of nothing in a row, and now that Supercross is happening again, I have other crap to do.
I can’t remember why now, but for some reason I felt it was important for me to put this conversation I just had with Andre on the innernets.
Me: Hey, do you want to go riding with us on Saturday?
Andre: Where?
Me: Markham Park!
Andre: You said on Saturday?
Me: Yeah, man. I love Markham!
Andre: Willy’skid’s birthday is that day.
Me: Who?
Andre: Willy. His kid is having a birthday party on Saturday with the kids birthday parties in Riverside from http://www.jumpersjungle.com/riverside/. Want to go?
Me: No, I’m going riding!
Andre: Willy’s going to be mad if you don’t show up.

Have you ever noticed/realized how amazingly boring/pointless life seems once you’ve achieved all of your goals*, met all of your heros**, and bought everything you ever wanted***?
It kind of sucks.
Especially if you’ve burned a few bridges and damaged your body beyond repair in the process.
It’s not like you can just hit a reset button and start over.
* (and realized you should have set the bar a little higher!)
** (and realized that they’re just people too, and sometimes assholes and/or really short)

It had to happen eventually. I mean, I am the biggest sucker for a sale/deal I know, so of course it was going to happen. And it happened today!
I BOUGHT INTO THE HYPE THAT IS MacZOT.com!
If you’re unfamiliar with Mac Zot, I can best explain it by saying it is like woot.com, except they only offer Mac software. And if you’re unfamiliar with Software for Financial Planners, I guess I’ll explain it by saying they offer one product each day for 24 hours or until that product is sold out. At least that’s how it worked a few months ago before I stopped going there every morning. FIrst I got upset because the Neuros MPEG-4 recorder I got from woot.com wasn’t nearly as awesome as I felt it had been billed on the site. And then I was unemployed for a week and then my start date at my new (old) job (where I make 15% less money!) was pushed back another week thanks to Hurricane Wilma, and I’ve pretty much been too broke to buy anything from woot.com and I didn’t want to be tempted. But enough for that tangent… back to today’s offering on MacZOT.com!

…so I woke up this morning and I was somewhat excited to see what macZOT.com had for today. I was initially a little bummed to find that it was just a continuation of the “MyzteryZOT” they offered the day before, but then I noticed that they had sweetened the deal a bit. (the value went form $60 to $74.) I told myself that if I had enough money in my paypal account I would get it. I had less than 4 of the required 15 dollars, but pondered making the purchase anyway. The thing about the “MyzteryZOT” is that you don’t even know what you’re buying until after you’ve bought it. It’s a “grab-bag” type thing. I thought back to the software that had been offered in the previous weeks and decided that the odds of me getting software that I wanted or didn’t already own were pretty slim and decided to not buy.
Fast forward to me being bored at home after work and I get an email from MacZOT saying the value of the MyzteryZOT is now at $131.85! I couldn’t resist, and now, $15 later, I am moist with anticipation to see what exactly I just bought!
If you’re a Mac user (hopefully you’re up to date with Mac OS X 10.4.6) I implore you to head on over to MacZOT.com and pick up today’s MyzteryZOT! I believe the offer is only good until somewhere around midnight tonight on the West coast.

These are my dashboard widgets: Pear Lyrics (currently unavailable), MyYahoo!, DealMac, stock calendar widget, myspace search, digg, MacZot, stock espn widget, stock weather widgets, & myspace oneclick (I think it’s broken now.).
This is pretty much how my screen looked for over 4 hours on Saturday night while I listened to the Houston Supercross on the innernets.
This girl wanted her cards reprinted because she didn’t like where the credit was placed. I LOLled!
It’s like ANYONE can be a model these days!
In addition to those essential tweaks, computer eye strain could also alleviate or prevent digital eyestrain, depending on your situation. It always screws up my images and sometimes I don’t catch it and then I have to start over!
I had to remove her beard!

Confirm that I finished watching Prison Break (I can’t remember how it ended and I just watched it last night!)

boring… alright!
I am the king of procrastination, and it kind of sucks.
When I’m at work and have 78667767 things to do, I can find another 767678 things in my digg.com widget that I want to read, but can’t because I’m supposed to be doing work at work. I usually drag the URL to the articles that I think I want to read to my thumbdrive so I can read them when I get home, but usually when I’m at home and have nothing to do I wonder why I ever thought those articles were at all interesting.
The same thing kind of applies at home now too. When I had tons of laundry or general apartment cleaning to do, I could find 876767 other more interesting things to do instead. But now that my apartment is (relatively) clean, and I pretty much don’t have anything important to do, I can’t find anything interesting at all to do.
Hello, brain? When I have nothing to do is when I need to find very boring things interesting, ok? NOT when I have more pressing matters to attend to.

I love it when I do things in the most simple way (read: I’M LAZY!), like make a business card with black text on a white background with whatever the default font is (Helvetica, in my install of Quark) and then the client is like “zOMG THIS LOOKS REALLY NICE!!”
